I order broadband online with new phone line for a house i had just moved into. house previously had BT phone and Broadband. email recived from BT with activiation date. No equipment arrived so i called. 2 hours on phone. technical issue but no one could tell me what it was.
Order cancelled and put through to sales for new order. They claimed old line could not be activated, needed visit and new one. could not arrange visit as Openreach did not have plot number of site and couldn`t find address. House 6 years old. Has number on every other ulitities database but BT refused order becuase i didn`t know 6 year old plot number.
